Adobe Capture: Illustrator, Ps App Reviews

I love using this when developing a logo. It makes transferring sketches to illustrator a breeze!

This is a great app. I love being able to make color themes from the photos I take and making patterns. Easy to use and syncs up with the creative cloud. Its great.

It is good and I am glad they combined the different apps into one now but I cant stand that you have to take a picture in color to must with the color settings. Sometimes I just want to play with the colors and not have to take a pic. Good grief.

Plays an annoying video unless you create an account. At least tell me that the account is required before I download the app.

Really just wanted the color wheel on the website, but being forced to log in and give it access to my camera to even creat color schemes. Pretty crappy. Website is better by far

Interesting reuse of vector tracing code for the "camera in every hand" era. Lost three stars for: • no camera rotation intelligence while capturing • no control over smoothing • loss of shape name edit if you move back a step. • subscription model in Adobes pro apps. I havent given money to Adobe since the subscription BS began. Adobe is encouraging more piracy and draining even more money from their paying customers than ever before. Photoshop was once incredible, but is now quickly being eroded by design mistakes, code bloat, and the competition finally catching up (because Adobe customers are getting fed up, at long last and are willing to try new things). Gets two stars for: • potential as creative tool, offered for "sort of free".

Wow does this streamline my process!! As a fine artist and new media designer I often lose time between the paper and computer. Create has saved me. Cant tell you enough how much I love it. Needs a few more bells and whistles and palette needs to be more functional and intuitive. But this baby is new and they will add to it. Love love love !!!

Firstly I just want to say that I love how ontop of their game Adobe is. In a world where programs and trends for Graphic Designers come and go and become obsolete within a few years, Adobe sure does try to stay with the times. I mean, I have a folder on my iPhone dedicated to Adobe Mobile Apps. That being said, Adobe Capture is by far my most frequently used app for designs. I would sketch and scan in and retrace my artwork prior to using Adobe Capture, but now I can sketch out my artwork, snap a pic of it and modify it how I want with the app, translate it directly to vector and save it. If you have Adobe CC, the whole libraries feature is another time saver, and your new vector shows up instantly. I love it, no complaints so far! If youre a graphic artist this is a must have.

Whenever I try to sign in, the app times out and returns to the welcome screen before I have a chance to finish typing everything. Once, I was actually speedy enough to type in my email address and password in time, but then it wanted to know my birthdate. (Huh??? Why??? Theres a link that purports to answer this question, but evidently the answer is buried somewhere in the fine print of their lengthy privacy policy.) At any rate, the app timed out again before I had time to enter my birthdate. I tried a few more times and gave up. Maybe its a good app if youre dexterous enough to make it through the sign-in process (or if your sign-in info is cached). No idea.

Keep up the great work

Used it to take silhouette of vehicle to place in illustrator to create a vector logo for a business client. Made the project super original and saved time having to draw from scratch. Love it! CC just keeps getting better. CC is right up there with Amazon Prime in value for subscription services out there right now.

Its the best! Use this app to create brushes symbols color themes and much much more that you can save to the creative cloud. The only thing is is you have to sign in every time you use it which is kind of frustrating

Im obsessed! I use this app to vectorize drawings and images that I make into screens to print on fabric and it makes my life so much easier and amazing!!!

I can create quick textures, brushes, pick up colors on the go, and many awesome futures on this on app made by Adobe. You guys are the best! Keep up the awesome work Adobe!
