Adobe Capture: Illustrator, Ps App Reviews

I use this for a lot of art making- the smoothing curves function distorts your drawings somewhat, sometimes in a good way, other times makes them completely unusable. I was just starting to get into the pattern making function, which is serviceable but could be more complex, when all of a sudden the button just completely disappeared and I can no longer use that function

I love this app and the new upgrade was wonderful but patterns have disappeared.

I dig these tools for mobile. Thanks. Only thing I ask is for Prelude to work in iPhone (not just iPad). Great stuff

This app has opened new doors for me! Ive been able to make save and reuse my art as assets like never before! I draw, and take pix more just because of this app. Integration was spotty at first but has improved significantly. The smoothing aspect of shapes needs to be optional as it can over cast circles, and obscure small details.

Perfectly awesome tool while on the go. Keep it up Adobe.

This app seems great, but was at 35% battery life when I first opened the app, took 4 photos in less than 5 minutes and watched literally as my battery life dropped to 14%. On a iPhone 6s (about 6 months old) and have no battery issues. This renders the app useless while out and about. Also, it was mentioned in another review that the smoothing option should be optional and I agree. Had a good photo of a chair with full outlines and the smoothing feature completely removed the top of the chair. Great concept, needs work on battery drain and make other things optional or able to apply later. (Update: 1 photo of grass depleted my battery by 8% while "smoothing" it -- this is unacceptable)

There are so many cool possibilities with AdobeCapture-- it makes beautiful kaleidoscopic patterns out of everyday photos. Just start playing with it & youll see what I mean!

This last update killed the app. Its totally not functional at this point. On a max size 6s Plus with latest iOS update the app doesnt work. The message at the top reads "contacting server" endlessly. Looking for an alternative for color mapping.

I love this app have been able to create stamps right from the photo gallery in my camera roll and edit them however I like into Adobe Draw!!!

I love it. Interesting thought though... The brushes tab allows you to remove backgrounds and turn something into a brush, I wish you could remove the background and make a vector though.

I have been working on learning to draw, and Ive found Adobe Capture very helpful in seeing the main lines of an image. Simplifying a photo gives me a clear idea of how to begin a drawing. Once I have basic proportions down, I can branch out and create something different. Capture is both fun and simple to use.

I Absolutely love it I could take pictures like I could ever imagine. I like the sketches it does discovering the blushes the patterns & The Colors aware That I could expand and be more talented than someone else. Now I feel much better about my talent that I ran I was young One example John Denver painting I made 19 years ago I was in eighth grade at Round Valley Mill school in Lebanon, New Jersey. I use this app on a daily bases, very useful.

Capture has significantly increased my production of digital drawings because its an enjoyable process.

I use this app to create color boards and to capture simplified shapes as inspiration for art. The best part is they sync seamlessly with all my Adobe applications and appear in libraries automatically. Its so cool and so easy to use. Adobe is making some of the best apps on the market right now!

This app changed the way I used Adobe draw 10/10 great app in general

But please keep a option if the user wants to keep the shapes outline sharp or smooth . And also that we have an option of cropping the shape already existing

I love vectors. I love this app. I hate that you need creative cloud subscription for full functionality... But if you just sign up for Illustrator, plus use this and the Draw app, you can do anything. Well, anything with nice vectors.
